New York (A)'s <a href=p890.html>Timothy Quist</a> ropes six hits
BALTIMORE - New York (A)'s shortstop <a href=p890.html>Timothy 
Quist</a> once again displayed his tremendous ability 
to make contact with that little white ball. He tore 
up Baltimore's pitching staff with a 6 hit performance 
on Sunday. A pitch from <a href=p1893.html>Edward Haller</a> 
in the 2nd inning left his bat for a solo homerun, 
landing 374 feet from home plate in right field. He 
had singles in the 3rd , in the 5th (one RBI) , in 
the 6th inning (two RBIs) , in the 8th inning and in 
the 9th inning . Timothy scored one run, and he collected 
4 RBI as well! His 6 hit performance increases his 
batting average to .320. New York (A) scored 18 runs 
on 29 hits.
